Play WoW on Ubuntu
Well yes it seems possible to actually play WoW on Ubuntu without losing that much gaming quality !
You'll ask '' ok Ørical but how did you do that shit ? ''
Well here is the answer :
( Be sure to have Wine installed)
- Install LXDE desktop by opening the terminal (ctrl+alt+t) and execute this command :
sudo apt-get install LXDE (don't forget to log-off and switch to LXDE)
2. Open your WoW folder and look for the Config.WTF file you can find it in the WTF folder
3. Once that file opened search the line named ''SET gxApi '' once you got it, change it to OpenGL as SET gxApi "D3D11" => SET gxApi "OpenGL"
Save and exit and you're ready to go !
Why LXDE ?
Come on guys ! Gnome sucks when it comes to gaming and you know it !
Why doesn't your bullshit work for me !?
Well i can't really answer that as i don't know what's in your computer...
This is my shitty computer and it works great :
- Motherboard : MSI A78M-E35
- Graphic card : MSI GEFORCE GT630 4GB DDR3
- 8GB RAM DDR3
-CPU : AMD DUAL-CORE PROCESSOR 4.1 GHz A6 6400K
So either you missed something ( kind of hard with such a tiny tutorial) either your computer is just a Nazi piece of shit who hates linux and wants to destroy the world.
And once again, thanks for reading !
